Attractions Near Las Palmas

Las Palmas is just a short drive from historic and scenic St. George attractions, a dozen golf courses, movie theaters, the airport, and shopping. A little further and you have lakes, mountains, sand dunes, Snow Canyon State Park, Zion's National Park, and the Grand Canyon.

Also just minutes away is Tuacahn, called the "Broadway in the Desert" which features high quality productions like Les Miserables and The Sound of Music.

St. George is also home to the world-renowned St. George Marathon in October (a popular qualifier for the Boston Marathon and regarded as one of the most scenic marathon courses around), and has a great network of walking trails. In fact, just down the hill from Las Palmas you can take the walking trails north to Santa Clara, Ivins, or Snow Canyon, or south to Bloomington and the Virgin River.
